Rainy Weather
April showers bring May flowers! Rain is
surely on its way
We ask that your child still has a pair of
boots (you can make the transition to rain
boots if youd like) to keep at school. This
helps to keep feet dry and children happy
and active during recess.

Arrical & Dismissal

Hooray for warmer weather! Beginning in
April, we will move our arrival and dismissal
outdoors. Please line up in front of the main
doors on the far right side (if youre facing
the doors). We will meet you outside for
arrival and dismissal..

Please do not enter the school unless there

are extenuating weather circumstances.

Scholastic Book Orders are due on the

13th this month! www.scholastic.com
When ordering online use
Class Code: L2R3G

Absences
Please call the Building Blocks classroom
when your child will be absent for the
door. The classroom has a phone/
voicemail to accept your messages. The
Costello main office does not take care
of our attendance.

Review Time
Recalling
Children meet with the same person and small group of children with whom they planned in order to
share and discuss what they have done during work time. Recall lasts about 10 to 15 minutes, depending
on how much detail children share (this increases with development). Adults listen carefully and converse
with children about their work-time experiences. Other children may also ask questions or make comments. Recalling helps children reflect on, understand, and build on their actions.

Try these fun activities at home!
