    Reflection: Child Based Group Case Study, OCCT 520

    For this project I worked in a group of six classmates on a study case involving a child
    with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and a learning disability in the school setting.
    This project was excellent in encouraging us to think outside the box, particularly because the
    school setting operated very differently than other pediatric settings in the sense that the main
    focus is in areas of occupation mostly related to school performance. Presenting this project was
    also very helpful as we received valuable feedback from fellow students who were one year
    ahead of us, conducting their fieldwork experience in the school district, and therefore were very
    well informed on the role of occupational therapists in this setting.
