Performance Task
Students will show that they really understand by evidence of
Their ability to transfer their discrete learning into correctly completing a final work of
art using printmaking and inspiration from James Gulliver Hancock.
Task 1: Instructor will provide a demonstration on drawing three dimensionally and students will
create a drawing of an object to their choosing from three different angles.
Task 2: Instructor will provide a demonstration on printmaking relating to Andy Warhol and pop
art then students will create their own work of art using Andy Warhol as inspiration.
Task 3: Students will create a drawing of a cityscape of one they found or a fictional one using
their skills in three dimensional drawing and inspiration from James Gulliver Hancock.
Task 4: Students will create a final work of art using printmaking skills on their own to create
their own cityscape.
(Students can use different objects or research inspiration if needed)
