Discussed the problem with my shoulder, what it could affect with my
classes, how I would need to both shadow and get my health care
providers license.
Shadowed Keith at the Plymouth street fire station. I was given an entire
run through of the ambulance and its items. Told me different concepts
and protocols and how to use a couple tools and braces. He also lent to
me supplies I needed for the class. Never went on a call.

prepare for the final.
So far I have been to 8 classes in which we have learned skills such as

Talked to a neighbor who is an EMT who has 2 years of experience
working with companies on trucks mainly doing transport, working at
Beth Israel Hospital as a medical technician, and is a volunteer
firefighter for two departments by Westfield state. He gave me info on
what website to visit to study, find work, and where to buy supplies. Also
gave insight on what I could do other than working transport.
Researched companies such as AMR, Brewster, Fallon, and Event EMS.
Researched my colleges to see all of their EMT programs. Also checked
out several websites that offer practice tests for the national exam

I was contacted by Brewster and was assigned an interview time for

march 10th at 2pm. I received emails and calls from them and now have
an application I have to fill.

I took my Massachusetts state license test in Carver, MA. It

consisted of 6 stations of all hands on practical tests. I had to
bring a friend to be my patient and I was able to pass every
station the first time.
I had an interview with Brewster Ambulance about a position as a
basic EMT on a BLS truck. I was under the impression that they
were planning to give me the job and once I am able to get all of
my information in I should hear from them soon.

I took the national written exam in Warwick Rhode Island, given

120 minutes to take a 120 question test, I was able to pass my
first time and get my national license
