This page is an introductory page showing the title and the
characters from the Out of reach! story. The book was written
by Margaret Wild and illustrated by Stephen Axelsen.

This page supports Lesson 1 on page 13 of the Teacher's

manual.
Students explain why particular items should be put out of
reach.
Some of the items on the shelf are suitable for Timmy to touch
but others aren't. Mark decides to move the items either to
the shelf out of reach of Timmy, or down for Timmy to play
with.
Students can take turns to move an item from the shelf by
dragging Mark's up stretched hand to that item. Click on that
item and then drag it to the other shelf or on the floor near
Timmy - whichever is appropriate and decided by class
discussion.
Click on Timmy any time for a giggling sound effect.
