1) What is the student's role at the agency? (Include population with
which student works)

Shamekia has been assisting with our Food Pantry and Utility Assistance. She has
also assisted with Walk-in services. SOS Resource Center serves a wide range of
people in the community.

2) What are the tasks the student performs at the agency?

Shamekia assists with our food distribution on Wednesday mornings. In the


afternoon she assist with filing for our RRH Program, in addition to completing
special projects. On Thursdays she assists with Walk-in and Utility Assistance.

3) What are the areas (i.e. tasks, skills) in which the student is excelling at
the agency?

Shamekia excelled with consumers and other volunteers. She is respectful and
professional. People like her.

4) What are the areas (i.e. tasks, skills) in which the student requires
additional knowledge?

Shamekia needs to learn to better communicate and ask question of her task
supervisor.

Shamekia has been dependable and contributes to the agency in a positive way.
She is always willing to take on new tasks. She is thoughtful in her interactions with
clients and staff.
Shamekia knows what needs to be done now that she is in her second semester
with us. She shows initiative and leadership with other interns.
