Reflections

Activities provided in the book really suit with student abilities and
also their level of proficiency

So far, I already used most of the activities with my students and

the respond are quite good.

Based on my observation, the stimulus help to provide students

with choice of words that they may use when speaking

Most of them were able to use the vocabulary learnt as me the

teacher gave example and explanation before the activities session

Not all of the students participate because as we may know,

students really shy to use their second or third language that they
learnt in school.

Language In
Action

Language In
Use

Was the video clip

successful in helping
students produce the
target language?

Were you able to use the

language in the given
situation?
(Give examples that show how
your students interacted)

Based on what I observe, video clip really help to trigger students

interest towards the lesson and at the same time make situation
easier for students to acquire the target language

During lesson students were able use the language that provided to
them. For example I write example sentence on the blackboard and
urge students to try to use it with their friends.
S1: If you have RM 200, what will you do with the money?
S2: I will buy my favorite football shoes

Having Fun

Did the task allow the

students to fully practice
the target language?

Yes, the task really help students to fully practice the target
language

Fun In Sharing

Were students able to

confidently produce a
presentation using in
this unit?

They are able to use the language but when it comes to

presentation, students seem to have problems especially when they
need to deliver the language in more natural way of talking

Other
Comments

Reflect the success of the unit

as the whole

This unit really help teacher to know all of the students by the
sharing information session. Students also practice lots by talking to
each other using the target language. By far, there still more to
comes in the next unit.
