Science and technology

A good argument to halt human advancement in technology is that if we continue creating

technologies and researching sciences to re-create living matter (cloning), people will not want to
die, and will clone themselves, and if they do that, combined with the new off-spring of other human
beings, the world will become hugely overpopulated, than it is even now, and the world will not be
able to accommodate the basic needs of everyone. The only way to counteract this overpopulation,
would either be restricting the amount of off-spring each country is allowed to produce, stop
advancement in medicine, or make genocide legal, of course these kind of sacrilegious acts are
against what many people believe in, even if it is only administrated to clones. Therefore there will
be arguments, that blossom into fights, then wars, even a world war, all over what peoples ideation
is right or wrong. If these feuds DO blossom into world wars, then it is highly likely that we will use
nuclear weapons, or some other weapon of mass destruction that we have not invented yet, and
wipe human kind, including clones and real

Science boon and curse

The pursuit of knowledge carried on by scientists for the past several centuries has produced results over which opinion is
sharply divided. Science, originally intended to conquer and harness the forces of nature for the good of man, is looked upon
by some as the chief cause of the suffering of humanity today. Onthe other hand, there are a good many people who
consider science to be the harbinger of all progress, prosperity and comfort. The controversy has been raging for a long
time, though science goes on taking long strides .obviously regardless of the conflicting opinions pronounced on its
achievements.
Leaders of thought, be they scientists or not, however, occasionally pause and ponder whether science is going the right
way and really promoting human welfare. A dispassionate and comprehensive survey of the fruits of scientific advance in
the various spheres of human life provides sufficient ground to be sceptical about the claim that science is an unqualified
and unmixed blessing to humanity. They have reason to conclude that all is not well with science and its application.
