1.Organization
The teacher greets the pupils. The pupils greet him back.
The teacher asks simple questions : Who is on duty
today? What was your homework? Who is absent today?
2.Checking homework
The teacher checks vocabulary. The teacher say a word
and the pupils repeat in chorus. The teacher checks the
homework from workbook
3. Preparation
The teacher refers the pupils to the Vocabulary, reads
the words and wrote the transcription on the
blackboard. The teacher reads the words loudly and
asks the pupils to repeat them in chorus. The pupils
repeat the words.

2. REALIZATION OF MEANING
New Material presentation
a) Pre-Reading
The teacher asks the pupils to look at the Ex 1. There
are the covers of some books. The teacher asks :
Which ones did the children read? 2. Which ones
would they like to read? 3. Do you like to read books?

The pupils share with their opinions and answer the

questions.
The teacher asks what kind of books the children like
to read: Adventure books, Fairy tales, Story books,
Legends or poems.
b) While-Reading
The teacher directs the children on Ex3 It is a
dialogue . The teacher reads the dialogue for children
loudly and asks the children to read in pairs. The
children read the dialogue in pairs and translate.
c) Post-Reading
The teacher refers the pupils on Ex 4. The teacher eplains
on the blackboard to children in which sentences need to use
some or any.
In general some is used in positive sentences: This job is
going to take some time.
In general any is used in negative sentences and in
questions: I dont need any help. Have you read any good
books recently?
After explaining the task the children fill the gaps with
some or any.

a) Assessment
The teacher refers the pupils to the competences and
subcompetences of the lesson. The pupils decide what
competences have been achieved and what have not, they
make conclusions. The teacher gives marks to pupils.

b) Homework
The teacher writes the homework on the blackboard: Ex 3
p.60 to read. Ex 4 to write , Ex 8 to read.
Homework from workbook is Ex 4 p.64.
The teacher announces the end of the lesson, thanks the pupils
for attention and says goodbye. The pupils thank the teacher
for the lesson and leave for the break.
