School of Social Work Thompson House 4756 Cass Ave. Detroit, MI 48202 To Whom It May Concern: Ms. Mary Glass is a hard working student, committed to excellence. I served as her professor in the course, Diversity, Oppression and Social Justice. I found Ms. Glass to be self initiated and determined. These qualities were useful to her and contributed to her achievement of the grade of A on her assignments, including papers, group work and exams. Ms. Glass was always timely with her work and even sometimes submitted assignments ahead of the deadline. Ms. Glass has excellent communication skills and strong writing abilities. She seeks and achieves excellence in her work. If approached to recommend Ms. Glass for further studies or employment, I would do so without hesitation, because I know she would do an outstanding job. She is compassionate and focused and has much to offer to the field of Social Work. I cannot wait to hear of how her contributions will make an impact for the betterment of society. Sincerely,
Sharonlyn Harrison, Ph.D.
