Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth):

It was evident as the students arrived in class that they were totally comfortable working and
interacting with Olivia. Her classroom style and the connections she made to them as individuals made
it evident why this was so, and I was very impressed. Her lesson was very natural and inclusive.

N/A

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth):

Olivia's lesson reflected careful planning and took advantage of a wide range of available resources,
and this was further evidenced in previous lesson plans. Her binder contained constructive notes and
reflections which she then used to improve subsequent lessons.

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth):

From discussions with Olivia, reinforced by evidence in her binder, it is clear that she intends to take
advantage of all opportunities to grow professionally, both formal and informal, including Special Ed
and sign language.

N/A

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth):

Olivia's lesson was very well planned, and the students clearly understood her expectations and the
Learning Goals. Supporting resources were also well planned, and the various lesson components
flowed together and addressed multiple learning style, resulting in the students remaining
enthusiastically engaged throughout. Since her lesson plan clears reflects the research she invests, I
have suggested her reflections could contain more detailed references of the resources to make her
binder an even more valuable resource for her professional future.

N/A

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth):

I was impressed by the choice of resources that Olivia chose for the lesson. She took advantage of
opportunities to make cross-curricular connections, including using music and colours to express
moods. She utilized available technology effectively as appropriate, which again helped maintain their
interest and enthusiasm. The various components were well timed but Olivia was able to be flexible to
meet the needs of the students.

N/A

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth):

Olivia's instruction were always given in a friendly encouraging and clear manner and the students
were very comfortable volunteering answers. She was skillful in often building on their sometimes
incomplete answers to the benefit of the student and sometimes the entire class.
