Strand: Money
Team Members: None
Materials
Needed: Money, Coins, Paper, Pencil
Agenda: Today, students will work on recognizing and counting quarters. We will review
over what each quarter looks like, and adding them.
Objectives: Students will identify a quarter. Students will use skills to add quarters.
Opener: We will start with a video counting money.
Teacher-Directed: I will direct the class on identifying a quarter and its worth. I will be
asking each student multiple questions on quarters.
Guided Practice: We will get into two groups. These groups will help each other count
quarter
Accommodations: I will help each student write the total amount of each problem, also
accommodate my questions towards each student individually.
Assessment: I will have students recognize what a quarter is, and give them a problem to
answer.
Independent
Practice: Students will start a worksheet with quarters on it.
Closure: We will close by going over one of the problems on the worksheet.

Needed: Clocks,
Agenda: Today, students will work on recognizing numbers on a clock. We will work
together to solve the time, and they will each have a worksheet.
Objectives: Students will identify time. Students will use skills to write the time shown.
Opener: We will start with a video with telling time.
Teacher-Directed: I will direct the class on identifying time and how to write what it
looks like. I will be asking each student multiple questions on telling time.
Guided Practice: We will tell time on the clocks together
Accommodations: I will help each student write each problem, also accommodate my
questions towards each student individually.
Assessment: Students will tell the time from the clock.
Independent
Practice: Students will have a worksheet to tell the time.
Closure: We will close by being able to tell the time when to go to lunch.

Needed: Calendar, Pencil, Paper
Agenda: Today, students will work in groups on making a March calendar.
Objectives: Students will identify the months on a calendar along with how many days
there are in March.
Opener: We will start the day by having them name the favorite holiday in March.
Teacher-Directed: I will direct the class on identifying how many months there are in a
year along with the month we are in now.
Guided Practice: I will help them make their own calendar for the month of March
Accommodations: I will help each student write also accommodate my questions towards
each student individually.
Assessment: None
Independent
Practice: Students will work together to create the month of March.
Closure: We will close by sharing the creation of our calendars.

Objectives: Students will identify numbers. Students will use mathematical skills to count
numbers.
Opener: We will start the day by a counting video on YouTube.
Teacher-Directed: I will direct the class by playing the whats next? method.
Guided Practice: Whats next method?
Accommodations: I will help each student write also accommodate my questions towards
each student individually.
Assessment: None
Independent
Practice: Students will use writing skills to write to 10.
Closure: Students will finish writing to 10, and I will ask each of them to count to me.

Needed: M&Ms, Pencils, Paper
Agenda: Today, students will use M&Ms to add numbers.
Objectives: Students will identify numbers. Students will use skills to add M&Ms.
Opener: Why do we need to add numbers?
Teacher-Directed: I will give instructions on how we are going to use the M&Ms
appropriately in class. We will work together on adding M&Ms
Guided Practice: Counting M&Ms
Accommodations: I will help each student write also accommodate my questions towards
each student individually.
Assessment: Asking each student a different problem with M&Ms
Independent
Practice: Students will write down their M&Ms count.
Closure: We will close by eating our M&Ms and cleaning up.
