Responsible for the leadership building, project management, software development and highly technical expertise in
supporting IT services for all department heads; along with any budgetary requirements to fulfill these duties. My
philosophy was to proactively offer my experience and expertise in all information system projects; in order to assist in
streamlining business processes in making them more efficient and effective for management along with other
corresponding departments.

Managed an Information Management directorate with a staff of 56 and a budget of $4.8 million. Directorate consists
of: Network Control Center, Network Engineers, System and Network Administrators, Software Programmers,

and Joint Chief of Staff for all matters pertaining to Information Technology Systems, procedures and processes that are
used for planning/execution in the event of an emergency or special event that requires the support and assistance of the
NC National Guard to aid civil authorities in the preservation of life and limb, protection of property and the
maintenance of law and order. These procedures provide Army and Air National Guard command and staff personnel a
standard procedure for utilization of NC National Guard units and equipment during National Guard Civil Support,

Wrote the Cyber Exercise plan that was used to successfully test the National Guards Continuity of Operations Plan.

In this primary role I was responsible for the training and support for National Guard, Army/Air Force/Marine/Navy
Reserves, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, including federal, state and local law enforcement
agencies and other civilian organizations utilizing Camp Butner Training Center. I had overall responsibility for
maintaining and prescribing administrative control of the training site, including federal and state property. I operated
the training center effectively, economically, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. I developed and
implemented appropriate environmental, safety, Morale, Welfare and Recreation, natural resources, and public programs
to ensure continual effective operations of the training center, commensurate with available resources.

Increased the quality and number of training opportunities and increased training usage by 98%.

Project managed the six projects to include two helipads, fire hydrant bollards, Military Operations on Urban Terrain
buildings and a 6 and 12 mile road-march course.

Increased the marksmanship program participation by 110% for the North Carolina National Guard.
