GEOSPATIAL ANALYSIS
Completed $50,000 in mapping project research proposal work.
Constructed a statewide regional mobility assessment for the state of North Carolina.
Created and contributed to multiple Benefit-Cost Analyses on investment in public transportation initiatives
for the state.
Solely responsible for the creation of numerous Google Maps transit feeds which are currently operating on
the google maps server.
Assisted transit officials in development meetings through the design and creation of potential new route
maps in various rural North Carolina counties.
Wrote contributing Python code for the WaSSI model (Water Supply Stress Index) used by the USDA Forest
Service for modelling the impacts of Climate Change on the nations water resources.
Currently designing a web-mapping application offering interactive use of Transit Dependency Indexes,
scheduling software, fixed routes and vehicle inventory to inform users of North Carolinas public transit
needs.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION
Developed content for the TACCIMO (Template for Assessing Climate Change Impacts and Management
Options) and designed pivotal reports and management recommendations for Forest Service officials.
Assess the renewable qualities of discarded electronics acquired by Orange County Recycling and categorize
materials on the basis of recyclable properties.
Solely responsible for the processing and distribution of 35-50 tons of waste electronics per month
amounting 332.46 tons from August 2011 to March 2012.
Completed weekly reports on incoming and outgoing electronics, accounting for all materials to create a
record of volume.
Restored and constructed over 50 miles of trail as a corps member in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and
California, allowing the public to enjoy and value the inherent qualities of sensitive public land and water.
Developed a revolving network of contacts for both the Lead Poisoning Prevention Program and Friends of
Bolin Creek and worked to address policy issues for the LPPP.
Educated patrons of Huck Finn Rafting Adventures on the ecological value of the land along the French
Broad River including the Appalachian Trail.
Coordinated a Muddy Water Watch for Friends of Bolin Creek consisting of 16 individuals performing
erosion mitigation assessments of construction sites in the Bolin Creek watershed.
