Running head: PART III: STAFFING

Staffing
Drive will hire one OTR for 8-12 hours/wk, and one OT aide for 8 hours/wk. Total

full-time equivalent staffing equals 0.5 FTE employees. Projected yearly OTR salary amounts to
$20,160, with an hourly rate of $35. Projected yearly OT aide salary amounts to $4,608, with an
hourly rate of $12. Productivity rates are not considered in Drive due to the nature of this
program. Classes will run for a 16-wk duration, and will require students to attend all classes and
driving time in order to successfully complete the course. The OTR and OT aide will be
responsible for up to 16 students at one time in a classroom setting for lectures, up to 3 students
during driving sessions, as well as have the opportunity for individual sessions. This variability
of individualized to large group sessions makes it difficult to factor in productivity rates.

listings. Social networking will also be utilized for recruitment of both job positions.
Advertisements of the job positions will be paid for by Drivers Rehabilitation to be
included in relevant publications and media outlets. The job listings will also be added to the OT
