Dear Sir or Madame,

I am writing on behalf of Scott Levin regarding the open position of Physical
Education in your school district. Scott and I worked together for a summer at the
JCC Road Rulz travel camp. My role was Head Director, and his, High School boys
counselor. During that time, I got to know Scott quite well and can thoroughly vouch
for his character and abilities.
Scott was a pleasure to work with because of his pleasant and positive
attitude, which not only rubbed off on the rest of the staff, but the children as well.
His group that summer was quite challenging, however, we worked together to have
a positive effect on his boys, and I can say that we were able to form bonds and
develop meaningful relationships with the children. The relationships with the
former campers are still continued in the present time, as we all keep in touch. He
made it a point to show the children that he was invested in them, and that he truly
cared for their well-being. Scott always took initiative when it came to helping
organize group activities and troubleshooting any problems we had with scheduling.
He was a wonderful support system to me and my staff. He was also a strong role
model for the boys that were under his wing and the girls as well. Scott is a natural
leader.
At times, it may be hard to take criticism as constructive, but Scott uses it to
his advantage. He never takes things personally- he uses it as fuel to be stronger,
smarter, and more effective. He is a quick thinker and is always willing to put work
and effort into what he does to ensure that it is his best. I can whole heartedly
promise that Scott Levin would be an asset to any district that hired him. I say with
confidence that he would be a strong fit to your district. I have seen him at his
bestand his best is pretty remarkable.
