WHITNEY ILLSLEY You are performing great at: 1. Assessment. You are focused on the patients health problem with a likable attitude, a smile and charisma, things that make patients feel comfortable. 2. Learning new things. Always ready to learn new diagnoses and research new meds in order to provide the best care for the patients. 3. Approachable. You are always ready to help your peers with patients care, which shows great team - work abilities. 4. Caring. You have the greatest heart when it comes to understanding and comprehending patients feelings and their physical needs. You take extra steps to help every patient in need. Areas for improvement: 1. Caring for the patients should come with less emotional attachment. To avoid personal and/or professional misunderstanding, I would suggest you take a step back, whenever you feel that you are becoming to attached to a patient, and think what could the outcome be for both you and the patient. The separation from a patient should leave you feeling only proud for the care you delivered and the patient happy to have had a nurse like you.
