SIXTH SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
NATIONAL FIELD DAY
African Institute of Corporate Citizenship (AICC) is notying the
{general public of the 6th SABI National Filed Day which takes
place as follows:
Date: 22nd Apel, 2015
Venue: Natural Resources College
Time: 09:00-12:00am
Theme: “Working together towards achieving. nutrition,
‘food security and livelihood in the face of climate
change”
SSABI is an agr-business stakeholder platform aimed at fostering
tengagement in the development of the agricultural sector and
facilitating the development of public private partnerships
contextvally within the agricultural value chain. SABI facilitates
and coordinates business-oriented solutions and partnership
approaches in the agriculture sector to promote growth and
public private cooperation
Through the initiative an agribusiness demonstration farm at
Natural Resources College (NRC) was established with the aim of
demonstrating sustainable agriculture innovations advocated by
partners. the demonstration farm showcases various agricultural
innovations and methodologies promoting sustainable practices
inthe farming business in Malawi.
The field day has been organised to give stakeholders an
opportunity to appreciate, network with other players in
the chain and learn sustainable technologies. the event will
boring together more than 500 stakeholders including farmers,
students, processing companies input suppliers, policy makers
and researchers.
Currently SAB! Is boing coordinated by AICC. AICC Is a non
{governmental organisation commicted to promoting responsible
Growth and competitiveness in Malawi by changing the way
Companies inliison with the publicdo business tobenefit people,
the economy and the environment in order to build sustainable
communities. Through its programs AICC has established several
platforms and private public partnerships which have enhanced
ood practices and growth of businesses benefiting all players in
the value chain
