NOTICE OF COMMUNITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS

5 NOVEMBER 2015
As a result of the revised Scheme of Establishment for Community Council
agreed by Perth and Kinross Council in February 2015, elections will take
place on 5 November 2015 to elect members for a four year term. Where
the number of valid nominations exceeds the maximum number of
members for each community council or sub-area of a community council
an election will require to be held.
Persons wishing to represent their community council must be 18 years of
age, reside in the local area and be named on the electoral register for the
area in which they are standing. A candidates proposer and seconder
must also reside in the same local area and be named on the electoral
register.
To stand as a candidate completed nomination forms must be submitted to the
Community Council Liaison Officer at the address below by 4pm on Tuesday
24 September 2015.
Nomination forms and copies of the Scheme for the Establishment of
Community Councils can be downloaded from the Councils website,
www.pkc.gov.uk, local libraries, council offices or from the Community Council
Liaison Officer, Perth and Kinross Council, 2 High Street, Perth PH1 5PH, Tel:
