Rainn.org:
This source was extremely helpful. It provided not only statistics, but reliable information in all
areas related to the topic. The source helped explain the punishment the punishment of the
criminals, which is argued in the injustice for the victims. There was not just information on
todays work, there was actually facts from years ago, showing that this n i nothing new.
Weaknesses, in this website, are that it did not show the equallness between both sexes. The
whole point was to gather information to display that rape plays a role in the lives of women,
men, boys, girls, and babies. Therefore that made the site ort of sexist, focusing on one gender
more than the other. Overall, it was an eye-opening source with the information provided.
Uic.edu:
Although not used so strongly, this website provided a category of different topics. There are
stories of both male and female survivors, which are important, so that their side and feelings are
known. This source gives you a definition of what rape is, and other affects. However, this
source is more of a guide for a victim of assault. The information is helpful, but not in a way to
argue how to stop this action.
Rationalwiki.org:
This source played a role in looking at rape from another persons perspective. Not everyone is
on the page as what actions taken really qualify as rape, or what can or cannot be rape. It also

gave different feedback from multiple peoples ideas and theories unfortunately, this source did
not inform me on what rape is, or how it could be stopped. The site simply allowed me to study
the opinions of others, which tied into a reason why rape is so overlooked or under reported.
Sarsoline.org:
This source gave the basics of rape within just a few paragraphs. Just about all subjects were
covered, except affects, and date rape dugs. Weaknesses are that it was a repeat of any other
source, stating the information in a simpler way. The source acted as a backup for making sure
points were put out, and what was missing or present. While reading over the paper this site was
the best to come back to.
Rccmsc.org:
This source allowed me to bring out one of my strongest points in the research. It focused on the
victims more than anything. Victims being afraid to report their tragedies to authority gave a
great point to argue. This also gave a specific amount of people going to get some sort of medical
care, physical damage done to the body, mental issues, etc. All of that information allows me to
prove that a victim of rape can no longer live a "normal" life after being taken against their own
will. Weaknesses are was that if I wanted to use it for majority of the argument; I would not get
the basics.
