The article above is about the effects of the legalization of marijuana in
Colorado. The article states that the legalization of marijuana has done many things
for the economy of Colorado. In the article it says that not only is the tax revenue
very high from the residents of Colorado, but also the amount of tourists that are
now visiting the state is through the roof. It states that marijuana taxes brought in
15.3 million just in the first five months of 2014. But if you also add in the taxes
from the medical side of marijuana the taxes raised to 23.6 million. The source
seems to be fairly reliable. I feel like Forbes is well known for their well-known
economic facts. The article says its from opinion, but the numbers from the article
is what I will be using in my paper.

This article above is also about the effects of the legalization of marijuana in
Colorado. This article goes into the depth of not only the overall economy, but the
people who are on the working side of it and how they make money. The people who

help sell, grow, and run the shops that contribute to the overall taxes and revenues
from selling marijuana. This article seemed reliable

The article above states many of the numbers from the effect of marijuana in
the state of Colorado. It states the amount of money that the stores around the
state made in the first couple days and then in the next couple months.

The article above made my life so much easier when writing this paper. When
going into the paper I wanted to give the person reading the reason why the
marijuana plant was illegal in the first place. This is the article that helped me the
most. This article stated that there was a huge push for the illegalization in the early
1990s. The article also helped with the clarification of what the exact problem was
with the plant and why going forward it had to be illegal in all instances. This
seemed like a reliable source

This article was one of my favorite ones to read. The article was a huge help
with what the state of Colorado is going to do with the extra money they got
from the taxes. The article stated that Colorado would have to take any
choice, of where the money would go, to a vote. The reason it was one of my
favorite is because it put in perspective how much extra money would
actually have to be dispersed. This source was very reliable because I crossed
checked all the numbers.
