This assignment met the learning outcome of demonstrating

scientific literacy by analyzing and interpreting physical geography
data (from the atmosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere) and
comprehending scientific methodology and its limitations. This
discussion addresses the health related impacts due to climate
change.
This is one of my best works because Ive learned a lot from
doing research to figure out what climate change may have an affect
on. Ive learned about the many different health related impacts that
climate change may have on not only us humans but also on the earth.

Ive also realized as credible as the source may be considered, there

are some limitations on this article. The fact that I am able to figure out
certain limitations on articles such as this one, I feel that I am
knowledgeable about this subject to be able to detect these
limitations. This shows that I have done my research efficiently and
adequately to be able to not just complete the assignment, but to also
understand the subject.
I have prior knowledge about this subject to be able to retain the
information I am given or have researched easily. I also have done
extra research about climate change and not only its affects on us
humans but also our earth itself to achieve a better understanding on
the subject. I had to do extra research because I felt that there was not
a large amount of information on climate change. This journal leaves
off the important extra details needed in order to understand the
health risks of climate change in depth. Doing extra research is more
effective because trying to gather information from one source did not
leave me with a lot of information. I had to use what I already had
knowledge of to gather bits and pieces of information from different
sources such as: health risks of climate change, what climate change
is, how climate change may affect our environment, etc. This is how I
realized the main article I have provided as my main source, had many
limitations to it.
There are many ways that I have grown or developed as a result
of this assignment. I have learned to be more aware of our atmosphere
and how it may have a detrimental affect on not only our planet earth
itself (due to events such as global warming) but also on ones health.
Another way I have grown from this is that it helps me become more
prepared for any upcoming and spontaneous natural disasters. I did
not realize how much it might have a huge affect on the chances and
intensity of natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, floods,
storms, etc. Although, currently residing in the city of Los Angeles, I
feel as if we are more prone to having natural disasters such as major
earthquakes; therefore, I will have an emergency kit ready in
preparation of an earthquake in the future. Another way I have
developed from this assignment is that I gain more knowledge about
the weather and the weather change.
