history or in todays society. The students will choose a person from an approved list, then began their internet search for

producers of knowledge, teacher facilitator and guide and student directed learning task.
Importance of technology:
Using a multimedia authoring tools is critical because it will motivate and excite the students. Allowing them to research and
learn about history and more about Black history month will require them to use higher level thinking skills. If technology were
not used, the students would not be able to find as wide of a variety of information as they can use the internet.
Inspiration (optional): If you used existing multimedia projects as a model for your project (whether
in part or whole), include the URL(s) so we can visit. Explain what concepts you borrowed from
others.
I created this multimedia project myself.

Internet Safety and Student Privacy: Briefly discuss some possible issues surrounding internet
safety and student privacy that could arise while implementing this learning experience and explain
how youd minimize risks to students/yourself, alleviate any fears by parents/administrators, and
follow school districts Internet Safety/Use Policy. The students should not face any privacy issues; none of the tools
being used require personal information. After publishing the videos to our classroom blog, only parents will be able to see it.
The students will be using computers that have inappropriate websites blocked. I will be monitoring students at all times.
