1. For someone working in your field, please describe the fantasies versus realities of the job.
(fantasy vs. reality)
As a person who sits at a desk all day answering phone call you imagine you would get free time like you
hear about and see on the tv. However, this is not true most of the time you're on the phone helping customers or
you're doing paperwork. Nothing like you see on tv!
2. What is your current educational level? What continuing education and training are required?

I am currently pursuing a bachelors degree in marketing. However, to have a job with my position you
need at least a high school diploma.
3. Please describe the typical day to day activities of someone working in your field.
(day-to-day activities)
Once I come in the morning first thing I check is my work email and any pending work I may have left
from the day before. Then, the work starts. I basically answer calls and fill in any paper work that may need to
filled out depending on the situation. Here and there we might have a meeting or employee training session.

4. How secure are you in your current position? What do you think is the future of your field?

As of now my job is pretty secure. This is not my permanent field but at the moment I feel like in the coming
years the job that I hold now will be outsourced.

I personally think the growth potential is low due to outsourcing.
7. How many times in a year do you get to travel throughout the year for work related activities?
None
8. Was becoming a business major part of your plan from the beginning or was there something else that
you wanted to become? If so, what did you want to become?
No, I actually wanted to do interior designing.
9. What concentration within business do you enjoy the most?
Marketing, it helps me be stay in root with my creativity.
10. How is what youre doing now different than what you thought business would be like?

It's definitely not what I imagined it to be but in the end it's all worth it.
