Lets leave behind the city, the frenzy, the clock hands that tick ceaselessly
and give ourselves the gift of a peaceful getaway in the countryside; one weve
dreamed of for ages, in the shade of boundless greenery with only the sound of
cicadas and crickets for background music. Abandon the traffic and the enormous
grey facades, in preference for morning dew on the meadows, the evenings silence
and the splendor of a brilliant sunset as far as the eye can see.

This dream is now a reality for a couple which decided to transform their
barn into a rustic oasis. This decision not only changed their address, but their
lifestyle. The couple gave Roberto Cigala Interior Design carte blanche to interpret
their immediate needs, along with those of future occupants, by joining aesthetics
and functionality.

An old hayloft transformed into a refined residence with only the most
essential touches and clean lines. The renovation was knowledgeable, meticulous,
and extremely mindful regarding the use of materials and local craftsmanship, so as
not to lose sight of the tie between the goal and the location. The atmosphere,
starting from the first step into the house, is one of a typical Tuscan home. Here,
everything is in perfect harmony: from the selection of materials from cotto
Florentine and small tiles enameled for the restrooms, to fresh and natural fabrics
for the drapes and upholstery.

Roberto Cigala Interior Design specifically selected the furnishingswhich
were in part the fruition of knowledgeable recycling and in part realized by master
artisans using traditional techniqueswho carefully studied the aesthetics of the
interior design and his clients authentic tastes.

Each room is skillfully decorated with the couples memories and is designed
to always feel intimate and inviting, even for guests and visitors. For a completed
look, the home features the warmth of wood along with the knowledgeable and
delicate chromatic touches that run through the dcor and walls.

The family heirlooms perfectly blend in with the recently renovated
ambiance.

Contaminazioni toscane
Lasciarsi alle spalle la citt, la frenesia, le lancette che ticchettano impietose. E
regalarsi un buen retiro in campagna, quello sognato da tutta una vita, allombra di
chiome verdi e con un sottofondo fatto solo di cicale e grilli. Abbandonare il traffico, i
palazzoni grigi e gli uffici affollati, per preferire la rugiada sui prati, il silenzio della sera
e le luci incendiate dei tramonti a perdita docchio.

Era il sogno, oggi realt di pietre a vista e colori raffinati, di una coppia, che ha
deciso di trasformare un rustico nella sua residenza. Una scelta che ha cambiato non solo
il loro indirizzo, ma il loro stile di vita. E per farlo hanno lasciato carta bianca a Roberto
Cigala Interior Design, che ha interpretato il loro desiderio di raffinata evasione,
progettando una casa che rispecchiasse al meglio le esigenze dei suoi futuri abitanti,
coniugando resa estetica e funzionalit.
accaduto cos che unvecchio fienile si sia trasformato in una dimora di gusto,
dalle linee essenziali e pulite. Una ristrutturazione sapiente e meticolosa, molto attenta
allutilizzo di materie e artigianalit locali, per non lasciare mai in secondo piano il
legame con il contesto e il territorio.
Latmosfera, fin dal primo passo in casa, quella di un tipico casale toscano. Qui tutto
parla di armonia: dalla scelta dei materiali - cotto fiorentino e piccole piastrelle smaltate
per le sale da bagno -, fino ai tessuti freschi e naturali di tendaggi e imbottiti.
Gli arredi - in parte frutto di sapienti recuperi e in parte realizzati su misura da
maestri artigiani con tecniche tradizionali - sono stati scelti e disposti da Roberto Cigala
Interior Design, che ha studiato la disposizione degli ambienti e lautentico sapore degli
stessi.
Ogni stanza sapientemente punteggiata di ricordi ed stata concepita in modo
da risultare sempre intima e accogliente, anche per gli ospiti e i visitatori. A completare
lopera, ecco il calore del legno e le sagge e delicate scelte cromatiche che si inseguono
tra arredi e pareti.
Gli antichi pezzi di famiglia infine si amalgamano perfettamente con gli ambienti
recentemente ristrutturati.
