These websites have information, maps and pictures about each landmark.
Students will be given an information/questionnaire sheet (see attached) that will help them
learn about their chosen landmarks. This questionnaire will guide their learning by asking for
specific things such as: where is the landmark located? What other names does the landmark
go by?
Each question will come with four answers to choose from and the student must decide which
is correct. Each answer will be correct for one of the landmarks and the student must work out
which one is right for their landmark.
This activity will be repeated 3 more times so that every student has researched every
landmark.

Student Oriented Instructions:


1. Collect the questionnaire from the teacher and return to your desk.
2. In this activity you will be researching a landmark within Australia. You may choose to
research either Uluru, the Blue Mountains, Watarrka National Park or Lake Eyre.
3. It is your job to find out which answer is correct on the questionnaire.
