NOTES
We can use a preposition immediately after a noun, an adjective, or a verb in a
sentence.
EXERCISE
1. The hostages didnt give up hope . being released alive.
2. The people are unlikely to forget your kindness .. them.
3. None of his relatives and friends believed him guilty . this terrible
crime.
4. Not being confident their future, they decided to emigrate.
5. The audience laughed .. her funny jokes.
