Joint Statement from Leaders of the Minnesota Senate

Saint Paul, Minn.Today the Senate learned of the unexpected passing of 28
year employee, Lynne M. Thomas. Thomas served as a Legislative Assistant
in the Office of Counsel, Research and Fiscal Analysis. Senate Majority Leader
Tom Bakk (DFL-Cook) and Senate Minority Leader David Hann (R-Eden
Prairie) have released the following statement:
We were deeply saddened to learn that Lynne, a member of the Senate
family for 28 years, passed away this morning. Lynne was the welcoming
smile and patient gatekeeper of the Counsel and Research office. She will be
truly missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lynnes
family and friends.
