Plan
SPARKS:
helping
students
live
safe
and
healthy
lives.
1. Informing
students
of
the
services
that
SPARKS
provides,
ranging
from
sexual
education
to
mental
and
physical
health.
2. The
video
will
begin
with
the
SPARKS
logo,
which
is
a
light
bulb
with
the
name
SPARKS
in
it.
In
the
background,
there
will
be
an
upbeat,
happy
tune
to
capture
the
audiences
attention.
To
begin,
there
will
be
a
bit
of
background
information
about
the
organization.
Ideally
this
information
will
come
from
a
SPARKS
representative.
He/she
will
summarize
the
goals
of
SPARKS
and
its
mission
statement.
It
will
also
be
made
clear
that
SPARKS
is
a
student-run
organization
and
that
students
getting
assistance
from
SPARKS
will
be
talking
to
peers,
which
hopefully
makes
the
organization
more
approachable.
The
beginning
will
explain
who
they
are,
what
they
do,
and
tell
about
their
campus
presence.
Essentially,
the
first
bit
will
explain
what
SPARKS
is
all
about
and
how
it
is
run.
Then,
the
film
will
ideally
show
clips
from
a
SPARKS
meeting
and
include
an
interview
with
a
SPARKS
staff
member.
This
staff
member,
who
will
ideally
be
knowledgeable
about
the
physical
well
being
aspect
of
SPARKS,
will
discuss
what
they
do
to
promote
physical
health
and
tell
a
bit
about
the
resources
SPARKS
provides
for
students
regarding
nutrition
and
physical
fitness.
The
representative
will
answer
questions
about
what
information
SPARKS
provides
online
and
what
kind
of
help
students
can
receive
in
person
when
visiting
the
SPARKS
office.
Clips
of
Elons
gym
and
gym
classes
may
be
included
to
compliment
the
physical
fitness
aspect,
and
images
of
resources
available
on
the
SPARKS
website
will
also
be
included.
Some
of
these
will
include
images
of
websites
where
nutritional
information
is
available
and
sources
that
promote
healthy
diets
and
lifestyles.
The
end
of
the
video
will
include
SPARKS
contact
information
(including
its
office
location,
phone
number,
email
address,
and
(if
applicable)
the
name
of
the
student
who
focuses
on
the
physical
health
section
of
SPARKS.
The
video
will
close
with
the
same
upbeat,
happy
tune
playing.
3. The
goal
of
SPARKS
is
to
help
students
make
safe,
healthy
decisions
in
areas
such
as
relationships,
sexual
health,
and
physical
fitness.
They
hope
to
help
students
who
have
concerns
or
questions
in
any
of
these
areas
by
educating
and
raising
awareness.
My
personal
goal
for
this
project
is
to
promote
all
aspects
of
SPARKS.
As
a
first
year
student
at
Elon,
I
have
been
informed
of
SPARKS,
but
I
was
only
told
of
the
sexual
education
side.
I
was
completely
unaware
that
they
worked
to
provide
support
and
information
about
many
other
relevant
topics,
including
physical
health,
to
students.
I
feel
that
it
is
really
important
for
my
peers
to
be
aware
that
SPARKS
can
provide
assistance
in
many
areas
in
addition
to
sexual
education.
Students
need
to
be
told
that
there
is
an
organization
on
campus
where
they
can
go
if
they
need
guidance
regarding
relationships,
mental
health,
substance
education,
and
much
more.
Mainly,
I
want
this
video
to
inform
students
that
SPARKS
does
more
than
sexual
education.
4. College
students
are
the
target
audience
for
this
video.
Because
SPARKS
is
catered
to
students,
they
are
the
ones
that
need
to
be
made
aware
of
all
of
the
services
SPARKS
provides.
In
order
to
engage
students,
this
video
will
feature
interviews
of
SPARKS
employees
that
will
have
a
candid,
casual,
and
approachable
feel.
Students
will
be
interested
in
this
video
when
they
learn
that
this
organization
is
completely
dedicated
to
them
and
their
personal
well-being.
Students
will
be
engaged
after
learning
that
SPARKS
is
a
place
where
students
can
get
help
and
advice
from
knowledgeable,
trained
peers,
as
opposed
to
having
to
discuss
important
life
issues
with
advisors
or
professors.
5. The
video
will
have
a
PSA/Ad
campaign
format.
The
goal
is
to
inform
students
about
SPARKS
services,
so
it
will
have
to
provide
a
good
amount
of
information
in
a
short
amount
of
time.
It
will
be
made
of
accurate
information
being
shared
by
SPARKS
employees,
so
it
will
be
non-fiction
and
informative.
6. In
order
to
produce
this
video,
we
will
need
a
camera
and
audio
equipment.
Both
will
be
used
during
the
interviews
of
SPARKS
members
and
to
film
a
SPARKS
meeting.
We
have
no
budget
for
this
film.
The
team
for
this
project
will
include
Hannah
Sullivan,
Will
Cohn,
Chann
Little,
Sydney
Smith,
Cami
Allsteadt,
and
myself.
We
have
yet
to
discuss
each
team
members
strengths
when
it
comes
to
production,
but
I
think
it
would
be
best
if
we
all
took
turns
holding
different
jobs.
Most
likely,
the
person
whose
topic
is
most
related
to
the
content
or
person
being
filmed
would
be
in
charge
of
the
camera
so
they
could
ensure
they
capture
all
the
footage
and
angles
they
need.
Then
all
of
the
other
jobs
(including
audio,
lighting,
ect.)
would
be
divided
among
the
other
group
members
and
would
rotate
among
the
members
so
that
each
member
gets
practice
in
different
roles.
There
has
been
a
great
level
of
commitment
and
cooperation
from
each
and
every
group
member,
so
dividing
jobs
and
helping
each
other
through
the
process
should
not
be
a
problem.
