Dear Director of Human Resources,

I am delighted to recommend Ms. Emily Jones for a teaching position in your school district. As Emilys
mentor teacher West High School, I have had the opportunity to work with Emily over the last several
months. She has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and dedication in her teaching.
Emily has been instrumental with me, but other teachers as well, to coordinate and be the most effective
teacher for her students. The two of us worked together in the best interest of our students. Emily was able
to share new teaching practices with me as well as give me new ideas for learning and assessment. We
were able to use some of her student teaching time to team teach and look at data to drive our instruction.
The result was instrumental in preparing students for state tests. She has worked hard to implement the
suggestions in her own practice and by the end of her student teaching, I can highly recommend her as a
competent teacher.
Emily is an excellent teacher and has a passion for working with students toward academic achievement.
She successfully demonstrates knowledge of content and has high expectations for learning, and most
importantly, she engages students through solid instruction. She is reflective in his teaching methods and
maintains accurate records.
Again, I highly recommend Ms. Emily Jones for a teaching position and am confident she will be an asset
to your district.
Feel free to contact me if you need additional information.
Sincerely,
Bo Maciejko
