time or event in which they were proud by creating a Bitstrip
that demonstrates the event.
Teacher will assess students knowledge gained by using a
rubric to guide the grading of the students project.
Each student will need a piece of paper, a pencil, and a
computer
I will grab students attention by getting them involved in the
lesson by brainstorming and using Bitstrip to help them recall
every detail of the event.
I plan to integrate technology into this lesson by having

students use Bitstrips to demonstrate their story. This is an

online comic strip tool, students will practice skills such as
typing and using technology to represent their thoughts. This
is also a good way to show students that although writing a
story is a valuable skill there are other ways we can
represent stories using technology.

Because this lesson is designed for small groups it would be
easiest to group students at similar levels
Have a class discussion about identifying details in a story
and writing with details. Read a book and identify the who,
what, when, where, and why.
