The fundraiser at Gotham Comedy Club will showcase comedians such as Tom Cotter,
Bonnie McFarlane, and will be hosted by Vic Henley to help support the Woodstock
Comedy Festival and its efforts to raise awareness and support the battle against
domestic violence and human trafficking. It is a great venue in New York City that will be
sure to embody all that the WCF is, Comedy for a Cause.

About Polaris
Polaris, named after the North Star that guided slaves to freedom in the U.S., disrupts
the conditions that allow human trafficking to thrive in our society. From working with
government leaders to protect victims rights, to building partnerships with the worlds
leading technology corporations, we spark long-term change that focuses communities
on identifying, reporting and eliminating trafficking networks. Our comprehensive model
puts victims at the center of all that we do -- helping survivors restore their freedom,
preventing more victims, and gathering the data to pursue traffickers wherever they
operate.
About Family of Woodstock
Family of Woodstock Inc. is a network of individuals, paid and volunteer, whose mission
is to provide confidential and fully accessible crisis intervention, information, prevention,
and support services to address the needs of individuals and families. The scope of the
agency's vision allows us to bring to bear resources to address a broad spectrum of
human problems.
We believe that the common ground which unites us, both helper and helped, is greater
than the differences which divide us, and that everyone deserves the respect and
support of our larger community. We seek to embody and model the qualities of caring
and respect within our organization and with those whom we serve. We maintain an
attitude which is non-judgmental and non-directive, so that all individuals are
encouraged to resolve problems in a way that honors their own diverse cultural and
personal choices. In this work, we are committed to search all avenues for assistance,
creatively combining resources, as needed. In addition to assisting individuals, we
continually seek to improve the quality of life in our community by addressing gaps in
services and by advocating for more comprehensive, effective and humane responses to
people's needs.

little town with a lot to laugh at, with everything from stand-up comedy to sketch comedy,
