Who Are We?


-- Princeton University Graduate Consulting Club (PUGCC)

Goal of the competition:


To bring advanced graduate and professional degree students
together for an immersive opportunity to preview the fastpaced and stimulating work of management consulting.
Scheme of the competition:
Cases are drawn from complex and cutting-edge problems
faced by the top consulting organizations, that require topnotch intellectuals from across all disciplines to provide creative
and effective solutions.

I. Team Composition and Eligibility
We welcome currently enrolled non-MBA graduate or
professional students, and post-docs
- Diverse background is highly encouraged
- No business experience is required

We accept applications ONLY from teams of 3-4 individuals


Teams can be composed across schools and institutions
To qualify, send us your information through our
- Your names and your team name
- Contact information
- One-page resume of each member

statement (less than 300 words) and

Event Details I: Competition Flow


July 15th: Case Release
Case packet is sent to teams via email
9:00am- Each team must review case materials and create
presentation slides within this time period
July 16th

11:59pm July 16th 11:59pm is hard deadline for slides submission

July 17th 7:45am-8:15am Breakfast & Registration


Teams are grouped into sets of five for the first round
9:15am- presentations (10mins talk + 5mins Q&A)
After assessing each team individually, judges decide to
12:00pm advance one team in each group

12:00pm-1:30pm Team Lunch Break

Opening remarks from judges and board members of the


club
Finalists are called onto stage to give the final
1:30pm presentation
Judges announce the winners at the end of the final
4:30pm round

4:30pm-5:30pm Social & Networking Time


Drinks and light refreshments will be served

Event Details II: Judges

Judgesare highly professional consultants from leading


consulting companies that support our competition.

Responsibilities include:

Check and review the contents of the package


Give clear, impartial and constructive comments to contestants
Ask questions upon each teams recommendation
Meet with other judges for consensus on awards.

Judges are usually grouped into teams of three including a team


leader.
