To Whom it May Concern,

It is my pleasure to recommend Kelly Craig for employment with your institution. I worked with Kelly
in a social service agency setting in the spring and summer of 2014 as she provided indirect support to
a specialized program for individuals with Autism that I directed. I also clinically supervised Kelly for
her practicum as part of her Masters degree in Counseling program requirements. Throughout the time
that I worked with and supervised Ms. Craig, I have witnessed both her direct and indirect interactions
with children, families, and agency staff.
Kelly Craigs most notable strength was her ability to collaborate with others and work as part of a
treatment team. While she was able to work efficiently on her own and with minimal direction at
times, she also regularly demonstrated the ability to collaborate professionally with others both within
the agency and outside of the agency. During practicum, Kelly consistently demonstrated the ability to
remain calm and assertive when faced with the challenging behaviors of the individuals she was
treating. She was able to act both as a leader and a supporter within her practicum experience as she
facilitated group therapy sessions and would support other staff when she was not leading activities.
Ms. Craig also possessed several superior professional strengths that set her apart from other
professionals that this writer has collaborated with in the past. Kellys major strengths included her
strong work ethic and dependability. She made herself available to support the program and children
even if it exceeded the number of hours that were necessary for her work week or practicum
requirements. She maintained a system of organization that allowed for work to be completed
efficiently and without errors. Ms. Craig even offered to assist the program with her artistic talents as
she produced many visual aids for children in the program that were identified as visual learners. It
was apparent to this writer that acts such as the aforementioned are noteworthy and that Kelly was a
devoted professional.
In addition to possessing numerous personal and professional strengths, Kelly has demonstrated the
capacity for professional growth over time. As evidenced throughout numerous staff meetings and
clinical supervisions with Ms. Craig, she gracefully accepted suggestions and recommendations from
myself and other treatment team members to guarantee the most comprehensive treatment for her
clients. Moreover, as she developed her own individualized understanding of her clients needs, she
made the necessary changes to their programming to ensure that they were challenged and reinforced
for their efforts both in and out of the program.
Kellys passion for the human service field and wellbeing of others was evident in her daily
interactions. I am wholeheartedly confident that Kelly Craig would be an asset to your institution.
Respectfully,
