working with your district for your PerformancePLUS Online Assessment (OLA)

implementation. My role is to facilitate the configuration of the appliance and to work with you to
schedule training. Heather Labrum is the Educational Consultant from SunGard who will the
deliver training sessions.
Attached are the following documents:

The next steps are:

1. Please review the attached OLA Tech Sheet and OLA Hardware Requirements documents.
2. Complete and return the Puyallup OLA Tech Sheet to me. If you would like to have a
conversation with a member of SunGard IT to talk through the sheet please let me know what
dates and times are convenient for you and I will coordinate the call.
3. There is a two week turnaround from receipt of the Tech Sheet to when the OLA image will be
available for you to install.
4. Once the image is installed and tested by SunGard IT we are ready for training.
5. There is a three hour virtual OLA training session in the contract. We can schedule this session
when the submission date of the OLA Tech Sheet has been determined.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to arrange a call with SunGard
IT to talk through the OLA Tech Sheet.

Some of our time in the morning will be spent on Performance Plus. We will doing breakout sessions.
Each of the eight sessions will focus on a single report. You will have the opportunity to attend three of
the eight sessions. In order for you to start planning, Im including a short description of each session:

1. Proficiency Level Pie Chart looks like this:

This report is good for getting a visual of your class and how they did on a specific assessment.
2. Student Assessment Report will give you one page per student. It will give you data on several
assessments that you can choose. It also shows how well each child did on each assessment as compared
to the benchmark and to the district average.
3. Assessment Scores: creates a chart of scores on one or more assessments. You can sort by different
criteria. It looks like this:

4. Comparative Report Proficiency Level: Compares proficiency levels on several assessments. It looks

5. Any Two Scatter Plot: Compares students based on how they did on 2 different assessments. It looks

6. Cumulative Progress: Shows how students do on an assessment over time.
7. Level Movement: Shows student progress over time comparing 2 assessments (i.e. fall STAR vs.
spring STAR). It looks like this:

8. Content Library: I am especially excited about this!!! This tool will allow you to create assessments
based on whichever standard(s) you select. For example, if your first grade team would like to create a
common assessment for your students that looks specifically at CCSS 1.OA.A.1 ~ we can show you how
to do it quickly and easily! It looks like this:
