Final Reflection
1. I have learned a lot throughout the semester in this class but in some areas I have grown
much more. More specifically I believe that my most significant growth has been in my
free writing, researching, and e-portfolio. In my free writing I have learned a lot about
how to just get words on my paper and how to begin writing. It has helped me to start
many assignments and writings I have done throughout this semester. Another topic I
have learned a lot about is my researching. I learned how to use worldcat and how to
make a digital list on worldcat to keep track of sources. The digital list was very useful
because I did not have to go back and search for my sources I also found the library
webpage to be very helpful. I also found that the prezi we made is a very good way to
organize your notes and ideas about sources. Last but not least I learned a lot about how
to make an e-portfolio. During my first semester I had to make one too, but throughout
this semester we had a much slower transition which allotted for much more time for me
to experiment in making the website.
2. Yes, the things I have learned in this class will greatly benefit me. This is because I
believe that the things we have learned throughout the semester will help me significantly
when referring to my research and how to write a paper. I have learned a lot about the

best ways for me to conduct research and I believe these will translate well to other
classes and if not they will contribute to my performance in other writing classes.
3. There are not many things I wish we could have learned in this class but never did. But
one thing that I wish we would ve learned is how to write other forms of research papers.
When I say other forms I mean research papers that do not reflect upon our own views or
that do not contain an argument. Maybe, just if we would have learned how to write a
paper from a different viewpoint.
4. If I had to give myself a final grade in this class I would give myself a 93, speaking
objectively. This is because I believe that completing every assignment and putting
thorough thought into each assignment should play a large part in our grade. I also
believe that my overall performance on each assignment was worthy of a 93. I do know
that there were some cases in which I could have applied a little more effort or performed
better but for the most part I was showed impressive work. But since I am speaking
objectively I think that some points should be deducted because I missed some classes
and on one assignment my link was uploaded incorrectly. I also turned in a few
assignments late, which should also deduct some points, but overall my grade should
reflect good work.
