Programming Assistant Summer Student

Position Title: Programming Assistant Summer Student - full-time, 35 hours per week
Location: 470 Queensway Avenue
Reports to: Curatorial Manager
Position Summary:
The Programming Assistant will help plan, promote and deliver a series of entertaining, interactive and
educational programs and tours for locals and tourists. The student will also spend time bringing history alive at
local parks and beaches, where special events are scheduled.
Comfort with public speaking and interacting with the public is essential. Strong communication and research skills
are also important attributes. Coursework in history, cultural studies, drama or education is an asset. We are
looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and energy!
Requirements:
This position is dependent on funding. Students must be returning to full-time studies for fall 2015 to be eligible.
Other eligibility requirements apply.
Pay Range:
$14 per hour
