Job Title: Wildlife Assistant

Department/ Region/ Section: East
Location: RSPCA Wildlife Centres
Salary: Between 12,972.90 - 14,598.04 per annum
Hours: Full time basic 35 hours per week

For this role, the skills required include:

ensuring appropriate husbandry and care to wildlife animals

appropriate training for carrying out medical procedures
fieldwork skills (identification of mammals and mammal tracks, bird
identification)
wild animal handling, assessment and first-aid skills
driving licence
communication skills

The job role would consist of:

admitting, caring for, preparing for release, releasing and monitoring

of wildlife casualties
Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of all areas
Assisting veterinary officers in veterinary procedures with
anaesthetic and surgical operations
Administering appropriate medical prescriptions
Identifying animals in care
