Understandings:
For the guidance and discipline portion, students will be able to accurately identify roles,
responsibilities and styles of parenting; establish age appropriate discipline techniques and goals
for children and caregivers.
For the Childcare portion, students will be able to explain the pros and cons of childcare options to
choose an appropriate fit for the child and caregiver.

-I wanted to show this video for two reasons 1) its funny and I highly
suggest you guys watch more of these videos, they are very comical 2) It is a
fun way to introduce what we are going to be talking about today
-I feel like Ive kind of just been a fly on the wall here so I wanted to just start
by introducing myself again and then jumping into what we will be doing
today.
