Instructor Reflection
1. How will your clients be productively engaged in the development of the identified life skill?
Response: We will have a Web Quest (www.bloodpressureproject.weebly.com), where they will write a letter to a family or friend who is
battling high blood pressure. This will give them the opportunity to use the knowledge they have learned in the seminar and apply it to a
real world situation.

2. What informal assessment activities are planned as a formative measure to check for understanding of either content or life skills?
Response: The informal assessment will come from the virtual trip to the grocery store. By them telling us what items they would purchase
will tell us if they have learned what we wanted them to.

3. What formal assessment activities are planned as a summative measure of the seminar objectives?
Response: The formal assessment will also come from the WebQuest letter. The letter will tell us whether or not they are using the resources
we have provided and whether or not they are able to use them and apply them to a real life situation.

4. Describe why you selected the instructional materials you have included in this particular unit?
Response: The projector, screen, computer, and PowerPoint program: These materials will be used to provide our clients with introductory
information. This will help them follow along and will aide those who are visual and audio learners.
The handouts: We chose these so we can provide our clients with lifelong information that they can keep and refer back to at a later point.
PDF Mosers: Lower it and Live Longer: We chose this because it is a helpful book tool for our clients to refer to. We were able to find it
online in a PDF form which we liked because then our clients dont have to purchase it.
Jeopardy Game: We chose this so our clients would have fun with the topic discussed as well as learn and be engaged.
Exit Ticket: Our 3,2,1 Exit Ticket is something we thought could assess if they were able to learn what we wanted them to. This allows us to
assess our presentation, whether our information was unclear or too bland.
