As an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon, I am applying for an entry level position with your
hospital. My successful background in the cardiothoracic and vascular field would without a
doubt, improve and grow your program.
I know that the general cardiothoracic and vascular surgery service will be an important
component of and integrated with a large multi-disciplinary cardiothoracic and vascular group.
With sophisticated and dedicated cardiac and pulmonary imaging, and the unlimited general
cardiology services, we can expand this program and make it thrive.
I have always found that one cannot improve without education. I completed my undergraduate
studies at Brigham Young University with a B.S in Public Health. I furthered my education by
entering a dual program at the University of California San Diego, obtaining my MPH and M.D. I
then entered the residency program at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I plan on working full time and
wholeheartedly. I believe that with my skills and experience, I can truly become apart of the
cardiac team and expand this program.
