PROCEDURE

To solve this Problem we chose Air as the fluid that is flowing through
the air diffuser. Hence all properties of air at 20 c are considered.

we have U=2,5,10 also value of Beta=10,20,30

From the U value that is calculated, we find U(x) by the given function

Later , we use the equation below to mark

2(x)^2

From the above equation, we can solve that value for delta2x

We substitute the above answer in the equation

From the above K is known and equate to the below and find

the values of (x)

From the equation below we calculated delta(x)

Now we take the equation of H()

Where

We substitute the above equation into the equation

From Delta(x) we can calculate the local heat transfer coefficient

Then We have to calculate values of Tau and then we have to find

value of x at Tau=0

Results: For case 1We have calculated the local heat transfer coefficient near the entrance location for
angles =5, 10, and 20 degrees assuming flow is laminar and incompressible.
For case 2Flow separation occurs for all three cases of Uinf= 2, 5, 10 when angle of air
diffuser is equal to 30 degree.
Flow separation occurs at
Case Ix=2.3177cm. at Uinf=2 and beta=30
CaseIIx=2.32836cm. at Uinf=5 and beta=30
CaseIIIx=2.34532cm. at Uinf=10 and beta=30
