Phase IV Questions

1. The city of Primera got it's name because it is the primary and largest city on the island.

3. Primera is located where it is because it's position facilitates trade and communication with
other islands and places on the island.
4. Primera has a rather temperate climate, it is surrounded by two rivers and a bay.
5. Primera is located on Huxley bay and as it is near the center of the island, the city is nearly
equidistant from most other larger settlements on Neorxeanwang. It is populated mostly by
natives and is it's culture is very trade-centric, much like the Carthaginians. The economy is
supported by the export of the island's natural resources such as iron, coal, platinum, and
thorium.
6. Primera was founded by the western group that was sent out from the original settlement. As
they settled into the new land, they decided to anchor themselves and begin to grow. They
choose the place they did due to it's proximity to essential resources.
7. The ports of Primera are major break-of-bulk points between land transportation and sea
transportation.
8. Primera contain Neorxeanwang First National Airport, so residents don't have to travel far to
travel by air.
9. Primera is near the Locke and Hobbs rivers and Huxley bay.
10. Primera's location allows for some urban-sprawl, but it's wedged shape discourages it.
11. Students would want to attend Primera University of Neorxeanwang (NUP) because it is the
most prestigious school in the country and Primera is a major cultural center. Primera is where
things are happening, combined with a well-balanced education it is a very popular University.

14. One of Primera's main urban problems is the growing gap between the rich and the poor. The
the other main urban problem that will have to be addressed in the future is the lack of
resources, as export is Primera's main economic base, it will eventually run out of it's valuable
non-renewable resources.
15. This city is based off on a city in my Dungeons & Dragons campaign I plan on running this
Summer.
