Overarching Seminar Behavioral Objectives and Life Skill(s)


Cognitive After attending the 8 day seminar about mental health and stress reduction the clients will apply the knowledge obtained for reducing
stress by experimenting with different stress reducing activities and keeping a journal of the results.
Psychomotor After attending the 8 day seminar about mental health and stress reduction the clients will identify the stress in their life and utilize
the techniques by taking notes on the seminar.
Affective After attending the 8 day seminar about mental health and stress reduction we want our clients to feel less stressed and have a positive
mental outlook by practicing the skills and techniques in his or her home.

Life Skill Understand the effects of what stress can do to the body and how to maintain a healthy stress level to promote this in his or her home for
a lifetime.

who have had a mental health issue

how negative stress has affected peoples lives.
Power-point presentation on different stress reduction techniques and how individuals can use them
in everyday life.
Power-point presentation about relaxation activities and introduce Zen walk. Individuals will
journal about their Zen walk experience.
