1-What

do you no-ce? Are there any children who do things alone? Always together?
The kids are dierent in my class especially in their way in playing or communica7ng , some of them like to
stay alone such as Alex and Ali Saod , they are the students who like to play or stay alone , however
there are some students who like to play or talk to each other like Alia Boaj and Lila , they like to talk to
each other and play with every one .

2. Are there learners who nish ac-vi-es quickly? What do they do when they have nished?
Yes , there were some learners who shed their ac7vity quickly , like Asher , he nished tracing number
ve , then he played with clay , because the teacher didn't ask him to do another ac7vi7es .

3. Are there learners who do not nish a task(s)? How does the teacher deal with them?
Yes , there were a learner who didn't nish his task , he spend a lot of 7me in tracing number 5 , then the
teacher spend more 7me in teaching him and reba7ng the instruc7ons to him , even if he doesnt nish
in the same 7me with the other students , however in the end he couldn't trace number ve , because
that was dicult for him and he too young to do it .

4. Are there any learners with special needs? How does the teacher meet their needs?
No there weren't any learner with special needs .
5. How does the teacher manage learners with dierent levels/abili-es?
My teachers gave the students ac7vi7es depend on their ability in learning , for example my MST gave
Asheir and Hamdan higher level in tracing numbers they took number 5 while the others trace number 3
and 4 .

6. Are all the children doing the same ac-vity or are there dierent ac-vi-es for the children to do?
No, they didn't do the same ac7vity , there were dierent ac7vi7es for the children .

7. If there are dierent ac-vi-es, how do the students know which ac-vity to do? (Do they choose?
Does the teacher tell them?)
It depend on the kind of the ac7vi7es some of them are necessary to do and some of them are available for
the kids but not important , for example the teacher will told the kids to trace a number , but some of
the ac7vi7es like playing with clay , puzzles and reading story the teacher gave the students the freedom
to choose what they want to do .

Task:
When you have made your notes, privately ask the teacher to help you choose a child that
isnt as ready to learn as the others in the class. (Maybe they are the youngest, etc.)
DO: Follow this learner and write down the ac-vi-es and movements s/he does for an hour. in
the table below.

Notes /comments

Learning numbers

He tried to trace number 5 , but he

couldn't . The teacher tried to help him ,
but he started to cray ,he want his
mama .

Playing with clay

He played alone , and when I came to

play with him as I did with all the
students he cried .

Playing at the classroom

He like to play puzzle , he prefer to play

alone instead of sharing the game with
others .

Practice the role play

He participate , but he was less confidant

, the students were happy and excited
however he was not and he carried
suddenly without any reason , I think he
doesn't want to practice his role play .

1. How many dierent ac7vi7es did the young child do?

He did four ac7vi7es like : tracing the numbers , playing with clay ,
play at the classroom and prac7ce his role play .
2. How did s/he interact with the other kids throughout the day?
Alex wasnt ac7ve at the class , he always prefer to stay alone ,
and he didnt talk to any one while he playing .
3. What was the longest period of 7me the learner spent focusing
on one ac7vity?
He spend a long 7me in playing with clay and puzzle .
4. What did the learner do during the break 7mes/ea7ng 7mes,
etc?
He ate his food and watched the other students when they
talked , but he didn't join their conversa7on .
5. Did the child seem interested/focused for the whole ac7vity? If
not, for how long was he/she interested/engaged in the
ac7vity? What caused the child to lose interest do you think?
He didn't focus for the whole ac7vity , he leak a\en7on when he
couldn't trace number ve , he was engaged in the ac7vity for
ve minute , because he was not capable to do the ac7vity
6. What did the child seem to like doing the most and the least
during the day?
He seemed to like to play puzzle and the ac7vi7es that he can
play alone with it , however he didn't like to prac7ce his role
play , maybe because that ac7vity need group work , which
make hem talk and act with others .

Choose one aspect of the dieren7a7on instruc7on that you saw

during the day
(for example: the child worked in pairs during the math lesson).
Then think about why dieren7a7on instruc7on is so important in the classroom. Write a
paragraph about your thoughts.
Research dieren7a7on and give me a summary of what it is, and why it is important. Tell
me where you got the informa7on.
ALL: Be sure to write down what your MST says about DIFFERNTIATION as well. How s/he uses

Dierentiation is the feature that teachers use it in their lessons ,

they use variety of strategy to teach the students to achieve their
goals by the end of the lesson.Dierentiation instruction is vital to
use at the classroom , because each students has distinct or
dierent potential level in learning and understanding , moreover
each students has dierent interest , not all the students like the
same subjects or the same way in learning , so the teacher should
use the VARK learning styles, which are :Visual, Aural, Read/write,
and Kinaesthetic sensory modalities that are used for learning
information to insure that all the student get the concept of the
lesson . So each student need to acquire the information in
appropriate way , which match and relevant with their potential
level in learning and understanding , with their interest , and with
their learning styles . My MST use dierentiation to assist her
students to be equal in the end of the day , even if she spent extra
time in a group of students like the group of students who are 2
years old , consequently they learnt and were the same with the
older group of student by the end of the day .
