CHALLENGES
1. OVERSTRETCHED FACLICILITES
Increase enrollment, parents awareness towards education have been enhanced and many
parents are seeking for a place for their children in our school hence the school faces shortage of
facilities such as classrooms, latrines, furniture etc. The school has no administration block; there
is only one extra room that acts as an Office, sewing room, computer room, library as well as the
food store.

2. ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN

We have children who have lost their parents and vulnerable have no one to pay their token fees.
3. LACK OF FUNDS
Majority of our donors are not permanent, apart from SOAR-Kenya Organization and Marci that
help with the payment of teachers and support staffs the rest are temporally.
4. IGNORANCE FROM PARENTS TOWARDS THEIR CHILDREN
Majority of the parents and the community are illiterate when they do not value education and
their children, This has really given the teachers and support staffs a lot of work in doing extra
duties like washing some of the pupils in the school.
5. SHORTAGE OF MAN POWER
Due to lack of funds, the school has few staffs and support staffs to do extra work. Some work
like cleanness of latrines, classes, compound is being done by the teachers and administration
hence slows down their normal duties.
6. UNDERMINE AMONG STAFFS
Some stuffs and support staffs undermine others due to the high level of education they have, this
has tends to slow down work in the institution.

17

7. CLIMATE CHANGE
The school sometimes faces drought due to change in climate hence cost high cost of food
forcing the school to use some fund towards food program which would have been used to
develop the school.
