A small boy listened contently “Then came Peter to
as the Sunday school teacher Him, and said, Lord, how taught a lesson on forgiveness. oft shall my brother sin When she asked if they had any against me, and I forgive questions he quickly raised his him? Till seven times?” hand. “Jesus saith unto him, I “I can’t multiply that high,” he say not unto thee, until said sadly, “so how will I know seven times: but, until when to stop forgiving?” seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22 “Don’t worry,” the teacher assured him, “There’s no need to count anyone’s failures or shortcomings. Just keep forgiving.”
That little boy learned a lesson that most
people need to learn. We try to point out other’s failures and we don’t even realize that we are failing ourselves. Be forgiving.
