Dear Friend,

The world is aware of the devastating earthquake that Nepal experienced on Saturday, 25th April, 2015.
Over 6000 people lost their lives with the number growing day by day. Many more are still stranded in various places and
situations that are heart-wrenchingly haunting. Thousands of older people are spending nights outside in makeshift tents,
huddled around campfires under the open sky, in the fear that aftershocks will further bring down their damaged homes.
The hospitals are pushing their limits to the extreme to cater to the needs of the injured. The wounded are being treated on
the streets because of dearth of clean, hygienic places. There is a need of supplying shelter, medicines and
emergency food supplies especially to older people who are among the most vulnerable during natural disasters.
The elderly also are more susceptible to the vagaries of nature as they are frail and much slower in getting relief or help
available. Their immune system too is weaker which makes them easy victims to the cold and bad weather.
Time is critical... they need your help!
Donate as much as you can because each contribution could help shape the lives of those who have suffered
unimaginable horrors.
Thank you.
