January 26 Register for NPA‟s Inaugural Learning Community: Social Justice Theory and Practice February 9 and 23 The course will serve as an introduction to the theory and March 9 and 23 practice of social justice. It is designed to challenge our under- April 6 and 20 standings of “privilege” and “oppression” and provoke new ways of thinking about inequity and social change. Through a diverse set of course readings, open dialogue as well as hands- Time: on learning projects, each learning community participant will 6:00-8:30 pm further develop a critical consciousness in regards to injustice and will begin to exercise their new learnings by becoming change agents within the wider community.
