I believe Nathaniel Bacon was an extremist of the Jamestown community because he took

drastic measures to get his point across. The definition of an extremist is one who holds
extreme political views and only resorts to or advocates extreme action. Bacon showed multiple
times his extremist ways from burning down the most important buildings in Jamestown ( doc 1)
and torturing the Indians innocent or not when sick of their actions. (Doc 2). The evidence helps
support my claim, because not only did he take his actions to a whole 'other level, he took
drastic measures to prove his political views in his community. In conclusion, Nathaniel bacon
was an extremist in the Jamestown colony, however it doesn't necessarily mean it's a negative
term, the American colonist were considered terrorists in England, and now they are seen as
heroes, bacon took measures extreme but to benefit his community.
